- Amber M. Islam
Amber M. Islam is an award-winning playwright, mythographer, and cultural futurist with over thirty years of experience in advertising, literature, and theater across South Asia. A Cannes Lions Silver & Bronze winner, Amber has led creative teams for global brands such as Coca-Cola, FIFA, HSBC, British Airways, and Siemens—always blending strategic insight with poetic depth.
As a writer and director of English-language plays, Amber’s work explores the paradoxes of human nature, the collision of myth and madness, and the generative power of narrative. His most recent original plays include Buzz Kill, a darkly comic examination of family chaos and unseen violence, and the yet unnamed magnum opus, a surreal, multi-phase mythic journey that unfolds from Dhaka to Samarkand and beyond.
Fluent in English, Bangla, Urdu, and several regional languages, Amber’s mission is to reclaim Eastern narratives as engines for creative innovation. Through Myth Ignites Art, Amber is seeding a new cultural infrastructure—one where storytelling, immersive tech, and education converge to shape the future.
